Here, you get the code (version 1.1) for the calcutaion of the Analytic Bremstrahlungs Scan

Short description of the package:

files: the zipped tar file anbs.tar.gz contains:

anbs.C the code for the calculation of the bremsstrahl scans

scan.in an example input file for anbs

scan.log the corresponding log file of an anbs run

Makefile the make file of anbs

input file:

parameter explanation

comment first line is a user comment line to be stored in the log file

beam energy mean energy of the incident beam electrons in MeV

goniometer 'zero' 'zero' values of goniometer angles F_A, F_Hin rad

beam spot size horizontal and vertical beam spot size on radiator in [mm]

beam divergence horizontal and vertical beam divergence at the radiator in [mrad]

thickness of radiator thickness of crystal radiator in [mm]

geometry of collimator distance target/collimator in [m], length [m] and radius [mm]

number of lattice vectors number of lattice vectors to be used for the calculation (the less the faster)

Z of radiators charge number of crystal and amorphous radiator nuclei

Goniometer angle F_V start/end value [rad] of the scan and no of steps

log file: informs about the process of the calculation and contains various variables calculated along the way

output file: root file containing a 2d histogram. I_r vs gonimeter angle F_V and relative photon energy x. This file may be read from root (e.g., use TBrowser). In the next version there'll be a ascii or hbook output, too.
